I'm just not good at that...

How many times have you said that or heard that said in relation to cooking or budgeting or organizing?

Ladies and gentlemen, cooking, budgeting, and organizing are not gifts, they are life skills.

No one gets better at a skill without practicing it.

If you can read, you can cook.

If you can add and subtract, you can live within a budget.

If you are willing, you can put something back where you got it from.

None of us are too old to learn something new nor to start practicing a new habit.

Why bother?

I can think of three reasons right off the bat.

One: your physical health depends on your practice of eating healthy meals/snacks

Two: your financial health depends on your practice to live within your means.

Three: your time is too precious to waste looking for something.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

Change your words.

Rather than say I'm just not good at that, say, I'm working at getting better at...

Remember, life is a choice. You get to choose.
