Have You Taken Time to Renew the spirit of your mind?

And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude." Ephesians 4:23 AMP

Paul is in prison. He begins his letter by begging us [his readers] to live a life worthy of the divine calling to which we have been called. He tells us to put off our former nature and be constantly renewed.

What does it mean to be constantly renewed?

A pause.

Lord, forgive my selfishness, my comparisons, my judging. Thank you for your promise that is we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us form all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8 ESV) 

Create in me a clean heart and renew in me a right, steadfast, persevering spirit. (Psalm 51:10 AMP) Give me a fresh mental and spiritual attitude.

Teach me to number my days that I may get a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)

Fill me with your Spirit. Help me to remember that I am your ambassador and I have a ministry of reconciliation that by word and deed I might aim to bring others into harmony with you God. (2 Corinthians 5:18 AMP)
